Many physicians point out that there is a lot of high-sugar, high-fat, high calorie foods
       we could cut from our diet, to see weight loss results more quickly.
許多醫師表示如果我們不吃高糖分高脂肪高熱量的食物 就能很快速的看到瘦身的效果
And exercise has many health benefits beyond weight loss, like slowing the aging process
        and improving mental health.
 運動也不只有減重這個好處,像是減緩老化和改善精神狀態。

Of course, a combination of diet and exercise would yield the best results long term.
 確定的是,長遠來說運動和均衡飲食的搭配才有最好的效果

But what is a calorie, really, and how many of them do we actually need?

So we have to be able to measure the energy we consume and use,and we do so with a unit called the calorie.

The average pizza slice has 272 calories,there are about 78 in a piece of bread,and an apple has about 52.
 普通一片披薩有272的卡路里  一片麵包大約有78的卡路里  而蘋果則有52的卡路里
a number of calories you would need to survive if you weren't eating or moving around.
 在你不動也不吃的狀態下,你的身體最基本需要消耗的最低熱量
Add in some physical activity and digestion,and you arrive at the official guidelines
再加上一些運動和消化  你就能達到國家所認定的健康標準

2000 for women and 2500 for men.
